Soliloquy Deluxe is an enchanting collection of piano music containing 16 classical favourites, three of Kathie's own compositions and her interpretation of a piece by Keith Emerson. It is a re-mastered version of Kathie's first album with improved sound, bonus tracks and new artwork created for this release.

The album front cover features a specially-commissioned inspirational painting by NM Burdikin - find out more about her work at www.burdikin.homestead.com. The album photography is by Ricardo Memez.

Thank you also to Adam Helal who did such a fantastic job on re-mastering the tracks.

Airplay

Soliloquy Deluxe, released in 2007, featured on top United States classical radio station, KUSC, Los Angeles, on Dennis Bartel's show, and regularly on BBC Radio nan Gaidheal, in Scotland, on Alex MacDonald's programme of restful music.

In April 2020 the piece Satie's Gymnopedie No.3 received regular plays on the Netherlands' Classic NL Chill Out. The track reached number three in the station's top numbers of both the last seven days and the last 30 days.

And in June 2020 Satie's Gymnopedie No.1 featured on BBC Radio 2 on the Liza Tarbuck show.

Other stations to play tracks from the album include WSMR Florida (To A Wild Rose), 92.5FM The X in British Columbia, Canada, on Jason Bermiller's ProgDog show; and internet talk station, Voice America, on the All Things Music with Terah Tucker show.

Terah Tucker says: "Kathie's piano interpretations of the pieces she plays are straightforward and beautifully executed."

And Rick Young, presenter of Radio New Zealand Concert's Classic Morning breakfast show, emailed Kathie when he got the CD to say: "Nice work!"

In addition, Soliloquy Deluxe is proving popular with folk creating short videos on TikTok. The track Prelude In E Minor (Chopin) has been used in more than 20 TikTok videos and has been streamed more than 35,000 times! Unfortunately, short streams like this do not result in payment for the artist who created the music.
